Learn with Lana Course Description
This independent learning course teaches Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. Everyone can benefit from these skills, whether or not they have a diagnosis. Independent learning allows individuals to study DBT skills autonomously, without the support of a counselor or group setting. While this self directed approach can be effective for some, it may not suit everyone. Those who prefer more personalized support might benefit more from a classroom setting. Consult a Licensed Mental Health Professional to determine if this independent learning format is right for you.
